Joe Carson is an Emmy-nominated and BEA-winning multimedia journalist specializing in video and audio storytelling. Joseph graduated from Brigham Young University-Provo in 2020 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a minor in Asian Studies. Before coming to Redrock Media, Joey worked for BYU Radio and The Daily Universe. At Redrock Now, Joseph aims to spotlight amazing people, fascinating stories, and hidden treasures in the Southern Utah area. Joseph has spent almost his whole life living in Utah, growing up in Salt Lake Valley and moving to St. George in 2021. Joseph loves the outdoors (especially backpacking), music, practicing Mandarin Chinese, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and playing the bass guitar for his band Muninn. He is fascinated by pretty much everything – but don’t ask him about city design unless you’re ready for a long, impassioned rant.
